Hello everyone,

New bloke here from New South Wales, Australia.

I am relatively new to smoking meat, having only smoked ribs over the last few years.

I am in the process of making my own smoker and I hope to have it finished in about a fortnights time so I can put some ribs and sausage in to smoke when I have my next weekend off.

I look forward to seeing how the different home made smokers everyones else has and getting new ideas for marinades etc.

Cheers

Now I smell like 2-stroke exhaust from the 1970s Jacobsen snow blower, but I earned $45 in an hour, by clearing two driveways.

Good afternoon and welcome to the forum, from a cloudy and chilly day here in East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.
