Hi,  super quick question.  I was smoking salmon on my GOSM and was using the "turn past light setting to get low heat" trick.  I had it too low and some wind must of blew it out.  Gas was unlit for about 30 minutes.

Did this ruin the food?  Should i toss it, or just give a smell/taste test?

Thanks!!!

I personally would try the smell test first thing and if it seems ok go from there. If it hasn't been in the smoker all that long and smelled alright I would re lit the smoker and finish the smoke after making sure the gas has dissipated from the smoker

I've had that happen numerous times with my Smoke Vault, trying to maintain real low temps. I don't know if it ever went for 30 minutes but I always just relight it & it was fine.
