I looked into building a UDS. Had the plans all ready until my wife saw how big the 55 gallon drum really is and shut the project down before it even really started!! However, I had recently come across some steel drums for sale not too far from where I live in Florida. These are cheap, $10, and have a remove able lid.
I live in Mebourne, Fl but work in Orlando and these drums are located close to Orlando. In my planning stage it was difficult to find these drums for cheap so I thought I would pass this nugget of info along. Feel free to message me for more details. I don't want to put directions or links up if there isn't any interest.
