Hello, may name is Justin Russell, 20 years old, I currently live in Syracuse, NY. I am a newbie to smoking but am full of energy to get smoking. My Girlfriend bought me a Masterbuilt Cookmaster 30, as a early christmas present, so i can make christmas gifts for others. Any suggestions from anyone? Tips? Favorite Recipes?

Welcome Justin!  Congrats on the new smoker and having a GREAT girlfriend!  Use the search bar for tips and recipes.  There's enough info here to keep you reading for weeks, but start smoking right away.

Glad you're here.

I'd recommend getting a good thermometer, don't trust the setting for the MES, and a good smoke generator. I personally use the Mav 733 therm and a amnts when I'm not using one of my charcoal smokers.

Amnts is short for A-maze-n tube smoker.

Like Noboundaries said use the search engine and you'll find lots of info on everything smoke related!

We also like lots of pictures of smokes!

A hui hou...
