Where has Billbo been? I have been dealt a life changing event. Smoking has been the last thing on my mind until now! Brined up some chicken drums. Trimmed up some spares. Love to roll up the skirt meat and snack!

Fire up the drum! It was 13° out when i got it going. As the day went on it got to a balmy 21° with gust to 20 mph. The drum didn't care.

Ribs on!

This is about 3 hours in, sauce on everything!

Beer bread!

Finished pile of meat!

And finally plated! That plate was clean in a hurry!

Thanks for looking & enjoy!

Nice. Really nice. I admire you folks who live up north and have to face those really cold ambient temperatures just to do what we all love. Living near Orlando, we have some cool temps (it's 44 right now at 8:45 pm on Sun., Jan. 31), but we can plan a smoke pretty much any day of the year. Well, we do have to pay attention to those hurricanes!

That looks fantastic.

These cold weather days are rough....i have a turkey in my gasser right now and its 9 degrees out side with 6" of snow....had to put a banket on her to get the temps up.....those ribs look great

Welcome back, Bill! Hope all's well in your neck of the woods.

That's some dandy lookin' drum drums & ribs!

Cold weather doesn't seem to stop me from a good burn either...wife thinks I'm nuts sometimes, but once the fire's lit and dialed in, it's time for some R & R.
