Friday night QView - Boston butt & whole chicken

Discussion in 'Pork' started by texasgal81, May 24, 2014.

  1. Had two of my smoking stables in the fridge & decided to smoke both of them today. 3 lb Boston butt and 5lb chicken on my little red. It's pretty much only cooking at about 220 to 225 so these were both very low & slow and they turned out great despite the time it took to cook. Just QView tonight..

    Awesome.  Great cook.   [IMG]

I think its funny the chicken is bigger than the butt.       [IMG]

  13. Thanks everyone! They both turned out really good! And yes, my poor little butt was a boneless 3lb'er that I got on sale, but it was just the right size fit what I needed and man it was one of the best I've done. Lol. I'm just glad they both fit on the same rack!
