One of my customers has a fairly new Char Griller Duo.  The outside is in great shape.  Whoever was in charge of grilling for her New Years Eve party left the gas burners on high after he cooked and forgot about it.  It burned all night and burned out the inside parts, including the gas elements and what ever diffusers are between the elements and the grates.  I have not dug down inside to see what else it might need.

The charcoal side has never been used.  It needs the side smoke box added for smoking.

She said I could have it if I wanted it.  I don't have room for it at all.  Is it worth grabbing it and replacing the parts to sell it?  Or would it not be worth my time?

not sure here... But I would take anything free and see what I could do to it.  You could salvage the burner off, don't know how there made can you add the fire box and connect the two chambers for a lager smoker?

Thanks for the input, guys.  I didn't know it was only a $300 unit.  I will pass on it.  Too many other things going on for me to take on a new project right now.
