I finally screwed up my ribs. I smoked 3 racks and ruined them by letting my "Honey-Do list" side track me. I have never over cooked any ribs until today. It sucks! But I did learn that I have to keep a close eye on my smoking.

I'm sorry to hear about that. :(

Just remember what Herschel Walker did for UGA football and be inspired! (Hopefully you're not too young to remember that)

Don't take it so hard, though, just make sure that your priorities are intact next time. If the wife has a problem with that then make her eat the overcooked ribs and remind her that it was her fault.

Yeah, I said that.

you know the best way to learn is from our mistakes, so look at it like it was a day of learning, and tell wife food or honey do not both lol

I got involved in a project and did not check them like I should have. I'm old enough to know better.

I saw Hershel's first game in Tennessee. He was awesome to watch and he could eat his weight in Snicker Bars!

Luckily for you there was no qview, so it didn't happen!

Man that sux for sure. You have to keep the smoker in the back of your mind. But here we have to eat our mistakes.

I did and got heartburn really bad. That is my punishment and I will remember this bad experience. I did not sleep very well last night.

I feel your pain, I carry around a timer when I have "other" things to do around the house. Adult beverages have also doomed a rack or two of ribs in the past.
