I just saw them here in IL. just yesterday at a local HD.

  3. I am in orange county, CA and my home depot has about 60 bags of the Comp Charcoal at 8.99 per bag.

    I bought 2

1 for learning, and one for cooking :O)

Thanks for the heads up. I have been wanting to try a bag out but havent seen any at Lowes or the local Ace Hardware. I don't live near a H Depot, so now I will swing by one the next one I see in my 'travels'. I am down here in no-mans land! (but I love it ...)

Yes. Burns a lttle hotter so it is a little tricky to use in a UDS. Smells great. Gives meat great flavor. Less ash then Blue. I really like it.

It can't be any trickier than lump, or so I'd think.
