This is my first whole smoked chicken. I brined it overnight in salt and water then seasoned it with Italian seasoning and smoked at 285* until the IT reached 180*. It was very tasty and the skin was real crispy. I will do this again...Thanks for looking by the way I used hickory pellets for my smoke.

I love a good brined smoked bird!!!! good job...
try a turkey... you will think twice about ever putting one in the oven again!!

ow you really did a great job on that your first chicken??? Now it looks great and I can just taste it for we love the smoked yard bird in this house hold.
