Hi, I'm looking to build my first trailers smoker. I have an old water tank from the farm. It is 36" in diameter and 96" long. I want it be a reverse flow smoker, With a warming box. I'm just not sure how big to make everything else. I know there is some mathematical equations that come into play. Any help would be greatly appreciated!equations that come into play. Hello Flippers,

Glad to hear you are taking the plunge into the addiction of smoker building.

Here is Feldon's calculator which has been around a while.

But some feel it is not optimized for reverse flow, so here is a link to a different calculator to get you started.

By studying these and trying different inputs, you can get a pretty good idea of what to do.

Look at other similar builds on these forums, and ask lots of questions.

We are here to help.

Hey thanks SmokeJumper! I've done my math, just haven't started the build yet. I plan on mybe starting this weekend. I will post pics as I go!
Thanks again!!
