Got up early and got my lang smoker up to 230*
Put the prime rib on at 6:00 a.m.
Got my maverick 733 dual probe thermometer one probe monitoring
Grill temp and one in the meat using charcoal and hickory wood

Whoa, in at 6am? I hope that means you are having an early brunch.

Yeah demosthenes9 we are eating early it's a family thing we eat almost every sunday

I just used the search option to find the recipe. I just typed in prime rib and found bears recipe. Bear gets all the credit excellent tutorial Thank you bear!

Thank you oldschool yeah I got a 14# for 114.00 got half of it cut up into some nice steaks for grilling I smoked the other half for the prime rib. Was afraid I was gonna mess up an expensive piece of meat. It turned out very good. I was happy with results
