Hello all! haven't been on in awhile but wanted to share what I made a couple weeks ago. I used a souper meatloaf recipe added green pepper formed it in a loaf pan then put it in the freezer to firm up while I made the bacon weave wrapped it up and smoked it for 4 hrs and unwrapped in the oven at 300° for an extra hour. if you haven't tried this I think you should it turned out awesome! smoked it at 300° for 4 hrs using Hickory and sweet Mesquite combo Souper Meatloaf prep time 10 min- cook time 1 hr 15 min. Ingredients: 1 can (103/4oz cream of mushroom soup 2 lbs ground beef 2 pouches dry onion soup and recipe mix 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs 2 eggs beaten Directions: mix thoroughly mushroom soup, beef, onion soup mix, bread crumbs = and egg, shape firmly into loaf pan.
