First Smoke Tomorrow

    Hello All,

            My name is Alex im from Fresno Ca.  21 years old computer science major and work at a group home.  I got a 22inch WSM for xmas. Love sports Football in particular dosent get much better than watching my Packers on Sundays. I look forward to gaining all the knowledge i can from experienced cooks around here.

    My best friend is on leave from Afghanistan so I plan on smoking some spare ribs for him and his family. Will post pictures as soon as I am finished. My fiance makes a mean Mac&Cheese i suppose Its ok to post that as well?

    First off welcome to SMF there Alex. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.
