first pork shoulder.

  1. Well 6 hours into my first shoulder. Pulled it and put it in a pan. Keeping temps in OK Joe has not been to bad. Bearcarver's step by step has been helpful. I do have qview as well. My wife bought a 13 lb boneless shoulder from Costco, and it turns it that there are 2 boneless shoulders in the package. The cook is going well. I'll post more pics as I get them. I have to use the computer not my tablet.
  2. Good luck with them!  I have hit a wall with mine but am just gonna try leaving it alone to see how it comes out.  Looking forward to the qview.
  3. The temp was very slow to climb from 175-205. I put it in a aluminum serving tray and tightly sealed with foil. I put it closer to the fire box at that point. Its sitting in the preheated cooler right now. Its only gone down 20deg in the last 90 min
