First Easter Smoke

  1. So... A Happy Easter to everyone. I bought an 8.5 lbs pork butt on Friday for an Easter get together with friends. Got up at 4:30 am this morning to get everything ready before church. Found a sweet garlic rub recipe that sounded good and thought i would give it a whirl. This shot is right before it went in at 5:30 am. First time posting Qview so i hope it works. Let me know whatcha think.
  2. Alright. Just put some more chips in and i have to say it is looking pretty darn good. Only 9ish more to go. I filled the pan in the bottom with apple juice and about half way through the plan is to baste it with an apple juice / rum mixture.

  12. So I think it was a hit. We took some pics and i will post when i get home. Sorry i didn't post them last night but after a belly full of pulled pork and 4 hrs of sleep it was nap time.
  13. So her is some Qview as promised. Had some for lunch today and it was even better. Even made a couple Rocky Mountain Oysters.
