First cook on new build!

  1. I've been lurking in the back ground for awhile now,so I decided to show off my recent build.It's a propane and wood fired smoker.

Thanks for all the compliments,the chicken turn out great.I did the build myself out of an old propane tank.The one end had to be cut off to fit in the trailer, it was to wide by about 6"[​IMG]. Using the propane with the wood I can get the right amount smoke for the job with about 4 sticks of wood for the whole cook,not to mention no trouble with heat regulation.I plan on doing a roadside bbq and a few festivals next spring with the unit.I'll have more pics soon.[​IMG]

    looks good!! I like it!! I have 2 big oil drums i am planning to cut.... i might use some of your idea....
