So here we go. A beautiful Sunday afternoon got the smoker fired up and a cold beer in hand.... what else is there?

Putting on some leg quarters for dinner and a Chuckie to make samiches during the week.

    And into the smoker.

We will keep you updated on this developing story as it unfolds!

Thanks but it's hard to mess it it up in the first hour[IMG]

Here we are one hour in and quick spritz on on both.

I used a apple juice and brandy spritz on the beef and a vinegar, and lemon juice based spray on the chicken.

Smoke looks good so far.. "A beautiful Sunday afternoon" Not sure where your at, but it's not around here. Unless you like shoveling snow. LOL Hot chocolate, baileys, and a fire are the name of the game here.

Fortunately for me it doesn't snow much here in Florida. We have traded in the Hot chocolate for cold beer.... I'll drink one in your honor!!!

2-1/2 hours in and the chicken is almost ready to pull.

We are at 140 internal on the Chuckie.

Sorry it took me so long to get these up, The chuckie stalled at 140 for 2 hours and i ran way over time so I wrapped it up in 4 beach towels and went to play my Sunday night night poker game. 5-1/2 hours later here we go.

    And all pulled...

It was pretty darn tasty. I think next time I won't spritz it with the apple juice and I will use my big water pan so i get more steam.
