Hey everyone, I've been considering making the plunge for some time now, and it happened! I had a Westinghouse fridge I was using for a kegerator for my home brewing, however, over the years I found that more and more I was bottling. Then, it happened.. The condenser went out... Without that... why use it for a Kegerator?! I'm starting to convert it into a smoker for the spring season ahead of us. I wish I had a ton of time to dive right in, but this will be a weekend project that may not get attention every weekend. Attached are some pics of what I accomplished today. I pulled out all the insulation and cleaned out the guts. I'll be going with a Roxul insulation and the Smoke Daddy Pellet Hopper. Hopefully next weekend I'll be getting some cuts made to insert a new stainless door frame. A lot of the motivation came from u/scootermagoo and his build. It's already painted black, but I'll be looking to do likely a Kansas City themed design. Any ideas are welcome!
