First brisket

    Was looking at some brisket at the store and only 2 passed the "fold" test. This was the best looking one in my opinion (as inexperienced as it is). Opinions?

    That looks like a nice one. You have a good long flatand the point or deckle , is nice and humpped .:icon_redface:

    I hope you discard that big piece of tllow? out and you'll be good to go .:biggrin:

    It's a 14 pounder, and I got it for $47. Don't think I did too bad. Was eye Ballin some beef ribs too. Might go back.
