first brisket help

    Ok I need some help please with a brisket. I bought a 20lb packer cut and have a master built electric smoker, i need advice on cutting it to fit in the smoker. Also to wrap or not wrap.

    I cant help with the electric smoker part but just cut off the flat from the point and your good to go.

    I wouldnt wrap it for a few hours at least (5-6) in my humble opinion

    I Googled "breakdown packer brisket" and found two good videos on how to separate the point from the flat. I can post a link if you'd like but if you copy and paste my text with the quotes, you'll find them.
