My son's first attempt at summer sausage. Came out very, very good.
Now those look good, but what's he got in them?

Man, I love the store-bought stuff. I can't imagine how good the home-made version is.
Once you make it at home you will never buy it in the stores again.
No, the smoker is a Masterbuilt Smokehouse 3-Rack Electric Smoker w/ Thermostat. Bought from QVC last August for $136.38 + shipping.
80/20 ground beef.
Used a Gander Mountain summer sausage kit.
