I just did not know if I was missing something.......always willing to try something different if there is an apparent benefit to the end product. FWIW I cook butts at around 250 and if I change the temp at all it is just letting it tail off towards the end.

No harm done in bumping IMO, will just make it climb a little faster (and not a heck of a lot at that), just did not know if you were on to something top secret and not sharing. LOL

its coming up on the 200 mark in the foil now, its looking good. im getting the cooler and everything ready
 
turned out awesome guys, would of taken pictures but it was a busy day....i think ill try a brisket for my next adventure into the wonderful world of smoking...my buddy is frying a turkey soon, really lookin forward to that as well
 
I remember the days at WVU, lots of grillin, but i WASNT taking pictures of the food! (if ya know what I mean)

Does that mean that I am offically old now? Cause I got more pic's of food than the kids now ...... let alone any chicks.
