First (and last) batch of snack sticks with jerky gun

  1. While wandering around Bass Pro this week I grabbed a box of Hi Country snack stick mix. In my joy to make them I figured I could use the jerky gun.... it worked, but not really efficiently. Here's 6# (exactly) of sticks. Stuffed last night and going in the MES around 0600 today. More to come as the day goes by.

  3. In the cooker at 100° for an hour. Q-view coming when I open her up and throw the AMNPS in.
     
  4. AMNPS fired up.


    Into the box, bump the heat to 120°

    TTT Looks good so fat.What is wrong with your Jerky Cannon? Tha is all I use for sausage making,even did a Salami yesterday with it.I'll be watching for the finish.

  8. The cannon isn't terrible but it was a pain in the ass to keep filling it. These sticks are incredible, so I can see myself making a batch every week or two... Time for a better rig!
