Well I gave some Baby Backs a go this weekend on the Brinkmann. I used the 2-2-1 method. Rubbed and let sit in the fridge for about 18 hours. Used AJ when I foiled and a couple of times during the smoke (hickory) I misted them down. I threw them on the hot gasser for a minutes after I pulled them off the smoker to add to the bark and put the sauce on there at that time as well. All in all these were the best ribs I have ever made and look forward to my next round. No smoke ring, but thats the nature of the electric beast I assume. Sorry some of the pics are blurry, took them on my camera phone. Modified an old chip box for my gasser to use a a chip tray over the element. Worked pretty good I think. The ones in the upper left are not sauced (for the GF). The rest I hit with Sweet Baby Rays Honey BBQ.
