Hello,
I'm in the process of building a smoker using an old propane tank. I think it's a 100 gallons. I'm making it vertical and Im not sure whether to weld fire box to it or have it seperate and put a pipe between them. Your thoughts. My temp range needed is 150-275

If I were wanting a vertical build like that I would be thinking along the lines of a UDS with a side door. Which means the fire pit would be built into the bottom of your tank.

Good luck with your build. Be sure to post pictures of the build.
