Two years ago I started with the ECB, did some basic mods but knew I needed a better way to control the air flow:

This summer I acquired the bottom off a Gourmet and then added the Pitmaster-IQ110. I raised the grate and build a firebox.
I used the connection 'bowl' supplied and piped off the side. I made wooden risers for clearance. I added an aluminum support to hold the control unit.
This 'contraption' will hold steady temps for MANY hours. Did a boston butt recent;y, hence the Q-view: Enjoy.
