Wife just got back from a deployment and surprised me with a Masterbuilt two door from Bass Pro.  I've been doing some light smoking on my little weber, but this is my first smoker. I just love loading that thing up on a weekend and cooking for the entire week.  So far I have done a chicken, brats, ham.  Currently running a load of ribs and brats.

All the pork I smoke is not store bought.  I butcher a pig every fall, and I can't wait to throw some fresh pheasant on there this fall.  Don't know what else to put out there, so if you have any questions, please let me know and I will answer.

Hello and welcome Bill from East Texas, Thank you and your wife for your service. Pretty much anything done on the smoker is better (My Opinion)  Be sure and post some pictures of your new smoker and the good stuff you are smoking.

Welcome Bill!

Beautiful area in the Springs, I had a BNL that worked at the Academy until he retired a few years ago.  Wonderful to visit, and thanks to you both for your service.

Bearcarver is a great source of information on MES, and generally a great guy!

Lots of other folks too that will offer to help should you ever need it.

Enjoy, and good luck!
