I've been lurking around this site for a while.I started smoking ribs and briskets in an old jerryrigged webber kettle a while back, and recently got my hands on two 30 gallon drums with the idea of building a UDS with a welder friend of mine.

I figured it was time to join up because I'm sure to have a lot of questions along the way.

Cooking is my therapy after long work hours and I find that the more I work, the more I cook. I've been working a lot lately. The forums here have the most knowledgable and enthusiastic members of any site on any topic I've ever seen! I look forward to learning a ton from all the experts here. I love the pics. I call it food porn, or better yet, BBQ porn. I can't wait to add my own.

Good morning and welcome to the forum, from a cloudy and cool day here in East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
Happy smoken.
