After smoking meat every weekend, asking questions on here, going through several wood flavors, and several slabs of ribs I finally got it. This past weekend I was able to find several bags of lump charcoal and grab a few slabs of baby backs and lots of beer(dos equis). I finally got my smoker even after making recommended modifications to my bandera to give me a consistent thin blue smoke. No more of that overwhelming thick white smoke but pretty blue smoke. I even tried putting my hickory off to the side of my firebasket instead of in it. Ill have pics later but its own again this weekend. Weather has been great here in arkansas. Im a nurse and its a pay weekend for me so maybe ill get fancy with it if you know what i mean
