First time since modding it this summer.
Hickory chunks with stubbs pork rub. Also rubbed a little brown sugar on it last night
I thiught i had taken a picture before i wrapped it and let it rest but apparently not. Doh.
Looks like it turned out great! What mods did you make and did you see a difference in the way it cooked after the mods?
I added charcoal grate to the charcoal pan, put a gasket to seal the opening around the lid amd drilled holes to vent. Also added a thermometer.
Looks like you had a tasty meal. Great job!!! Thumbs Up
Looks great!! How long did you smoke it for? What temps were you able to maintain on the ECB?
Oh and i made a cover for the i take vent so i could open or close it.
From what I could tell it maintained 250 no problem at all for about 5 hours on the first load of charcoal. I didnt touch it except when I added more charcoal about 5 hours and 15 minutes into it. I added probably about 5 lbs total while cooking.
It was for about 14 hours but the second time I added charcoal the temp had dropped to about 200 before I got more charcoal in it. The IT was only about 185 when I pulled it though.
