Took a little longer than I thought but here it is...I am thinking of ribs and pulled pork for my first smoke. If you guys could give me any ideas on how to do this I would be grateful.. I am really looking forward to ribs. Recipes? Rubs? Sauces? Since I have never done this before I would basically need step by step on what to do.

First welcome to the site.
Take Jeff's 5 day course and you will well on you way.
What type of smoker do you have? gas-elec-propane-wood than can answer some more of your questions.

Looks good congrats!!

Good looking smoker. Just read or ask questions and the folks on this forum will point you in the right direction.

Great looking smoker. If you added a small box to the top it could look like a robot with its arms raised.
The links wutang gave you will be a big help.
Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to pulled pork and ribs so in time you will develop your own taste and way you like them best.
Make sure you don't overdo it with the smoke, remove the membrane from the ribs, foil your pork at the appropriate temp the link will discuss this), drink some beers and keep it low and slow.
Oh, and have fun.

Goodlooking Smoker there....congrats on your build! Looking forward to some closeups of the smoker as well as your smokes. Take care and thanks for sharing.

Nice! That is a great looking smoker. Keep us posted on how it smokes.

Best,
Trout
