Well, I finished off my file cabinet smoker last weekend.  There still might be some fixing, but for the most part I think it is ready to go.  Thanks to everyone that gave me input and help be find the right fittings.

Eventually I might paint it, but at this point, I want to start using it more.

Should my AMNPS 5x8 or the tube smoker be up in the air when using (like sitting on a grate) or can then just sit on the bottom of a drawer (see picture 5).  I might put in a small rack to get it up a little.

Like always, any input is appreciated, both good and bad.  That is how we all learn, right?

Safety valve with thermocouple and also a needle valve.  With the addition of the needle valve, I am able to get temps down to around 110-120.

I might put in a rack here to get the Tube smoker up in the air.  I also have the AMNPS 5x8.

Left over grill grate and dripping tray from my $800 Holland grill.  I also used a temp gauge and the 2 side racks.

2 racks from some old ranges that Best Buy was recycling.

Also received my stuffer in the mail yesterday, Vivo 11 LB off ebay, $129 shipped.

2 speed.

I will probably keep an eye out for some stainless tubes in the future.

Looks great!

I like to keep an air gap below the smoker generator and the pit bottom. For the tube get (2) hose clamps big enough to go around it. Clamp them on at the front and back. Place the screw side down. For the Maze I place (3-4) nuts on the bottom of the pit and place the maze on top of those. Even small tinfoil balls would work.

I have some extra racks left over that I might cut down and mount to the front half of the bottom drawer.

Thanks for the input dirtsailor2003
