Fantasy Draft Party Pulled Pork

  1. It has been a busy hot summer here in Nebraska and I have not had the smoker out nearly enough. With Football Season right around the corner that is about to change. I have 16# of pork on the smoker today for our Fantasy Draft Party in two weeks. It feels good to be back in the smoke.

  3. This right here is why I spent the money to expand my patio this spring.

    Been stalled at 172 for an hour or so. I got plenty of shade and plenty of beer so no worries.

  4. Stall broke and temp is at 190 and climbing. Got a little beer and baseball to keep me company.

    Looking great,what's the rub can't make it out in the pic. Are you sure you didn't extend the patio to have less to mow.
  6. The rub is JB's Fat boy Premium All Purpose Rub.

    The less to mow was a very pleasant side effect. If I extend again it will be 90% less to mow. Ha!

  8. She is sitting at 198 internal temp now so still a little while to go. In the mean time I am throwing some lamb chops on the grill for dinner. One has salt and pepper one is rubbed with JB'S Premium Angus Rub.
  9. Pulled thames at 203 after almost 14 hours. They were falling apart as I picked them up and wrapped them in foil. Now to let them rest for awhile then pull them.
