Excited to start smoking...once my smoker arrives

Hi everyone,

Danny here from Kansas City, MO.  My wife just ordered a Dyna-glo vertical offset smoker for me as an anniversary gift.  I've always wanted to learn to smoke meat and I'm excited to get started.  I have a habit of over analyzing so I've been reading tons of posts on this forum and Jeff's website.  I'm pumped to get started!

Danny, welcome to SMF!  You and I are brothers from different mothers because I'm analytical almost to a fault, but it has served me well over the decades, including smoking meat. 

Keep us posted on when you get your gift and what you throw on it first once it is seasoned.
