Those potato planks look great. Did you start with parboiled or raw spuds?
And how long and how hot?

GaryHibbert these are my new favorite appetizer... I par boiled my potatoes until they were knife tender.
Then I cut them into fourths, put them on a wire rack lined baking sheet and let them cool completely.


I sprinkled extra virgin olive oil on each piece


sprinkled each piece with s/p/g/p/A mix (salt, pepper, granulated garlic, paprika and Aleppo Pepper)


then I wrapped each potato plank tightly with thin sliced bacon.


I cooked them on my grill (seam side down) until the bacon was crispy-golden brown-melt-in-your-mouth-delicious. The potato inside was seasoned to perfection and creamy
