Hey everyone, my name is kris and I live in sanford NC. I've just started getting into smoking last year and have tried a few meats. I used a cheapo char-broil smoker at first. after struggling with that I made my own out of a 55 gallon drum. That worked better. next I plan on making a bottom mounted firebox smoker. I have a thread asking some questions if anyone could help me out.

I plan on making a rectangle shaped with an angled top for the door. I'm thinking of going with steel between 11 and 14 gauge.
