Hi, My wife gave me a CharBroil Electric Smoker for my birthday last year and I absolutely love it. However, I am having a difficult time getting it to smoke properly at low temperatures. Because of this I am thinking of upgrading to a gas or charcoal smoker - specifically the Camp Chef 24" Smoke Vault. I cook a lot of pork roasts overnight - 12-14 hours, so my question is how often would the tank of propane have to be replaced with smoking that long?

Smoking is very injurious for our health. I think you should quit this habit. But, if you have become addicted to it, substitute your traditional smoking products with legal smoking blends. These are not harmful and have same effect as traditional products.
You worry too much!

Keep smoking your stuff and be happy!
