Hi everyone! I've been reading threads here for a little while now but this is my first time posting. We've hade our Masterbuilt electric smoker for about a month. I've used it at least a half dozen times now (all sorts of fish, elk jersey and a couple of pork loins). The inside of our smoker doesn't look very hygenic. It's covered in a brown film and there's lots of dark brown thicker spots. Lots of streaks from I presume juices and condensation. Is it normal for an electric smoker to look like this? I wanted to share this picture (excuse the smokey haze, I have it heating up). Under the drip pan looks even worse.

Good morning and welcome to the forum, from a nice chilly day in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.
