ECB with iq120

So I have a IQ120 temp control for my SFB
But when I use my ECB I was thinking of hooking it up. I thought I would drill a hole right above the charcoal pan on the side opposite the door.. What your opinions?

Hey Lemans,

I have never used one of those but, wouldn't it just mount into the charcoal pan?

In fortunately the charcoal pan is too narrow to mount it on . I'm thinking just at coal level on the body would work

If you mount it, would you still use charcoal occasionally? Can you remove the element to use charcoal?

My smoke n grill is only charcoal
