I am relatively new to this forum. Been reading for a while. Decided to share my smoker build and become more active. I hail from the peoples republic of Maryland where you have no rights, you just do what you must. I am a diesel/heavy equipment mechanic and a decent welder/ fabricator. I use a cheap cabinet smoker but will soon abandon it for my homebuilt vertical, side firebox stick burner which will be inside the garage with exhaust outside.

Good morning and welcome to the forum, from another cold and rainy day here in East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Yeah I want to see some pictures

Welcome aboard! Hopefully the Republik of Maryland will change its tune a little over the next 4 years, though the DC burbs, PG and Baltimore city will still be an uphill climb.
Good luck with the new smoker!

My build is under side firebox smokers titled vertical smoker build.

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
Happy smoken.
