It's a beautiful spring Easter Day here in Colorado and my first smoke in a while. I seasoned and stuffed an 12lb turkey for the family today and thought I'd share some pics with the forum. I washed and patted dry with cold water then cover with vegetable oil. Then I seasoned with a combo of salt, garlic powder, Slap Yo Daddy rub, black pepper, and rosemary. I made my own stuffing which was a what was already in the fridge combo of onions, celery, corn, carrots, cilantro, whole wheat bread, oil and chicken broth seasoned with garlic salt, black pepper, rosemary and some brown sugar and honey. It looks and smells good so far. I cooked it on my Weber Smokey Mountain with charcoal and hickory wood chunks at 275 degree heat. Happy Easter everybody!
