Its 2am do you know where your smoker is?

I didn't get a prep pic of the 10.5 lb butt; sorry it was 2am and I needed to get started! I'll get some pics up a little later. Planing on using this thread as a log for today. Here's the plan:

0200: Start up the smoker and get up to temp.
0245: 10.5lb butt goes in
0400: Breakfast fattie goes in
0800: Breakfast!
0830: Rib roast goes in, chicken fattie goes in
0900: Schrooms, ABTs go in
1100: Country Ribs, Brisket flat goes in
1145: Lunch! Rib roast, fattie, abt's, schrooms
0200: Taco and jalepino fatties go in, more ABT's and schrooms on, Turkey in the oven.
0600: Dinner!

Awesome.

I'm right there with you - though you got an earlier start than I did... up at 4, two 9# butts in the smoker at 4:30.

Nice! You putting anything else on? Its easier for me to get up early than to pull an all nighter.

nah - (unless I get bored later) - I'm just getting this ready for a 10-day offroad/camping trip to Arizona. I figure I'll vacuum-seal it into portions, maybe freeze it, and then I can just be pulling packets of awesome pork out of the cooler all week

I decided to go early rather than end up staying up too late before having to work Monday

Great plans for both of you. Enjoying some Jamaican coffee and cleaning up from the prep and loading of 3 racks of ribs in the CS myself this morning. Have to announce at a little kids hockey game early afternoon and then dinner for a church group this evening. Only time I had to get the ribs in was early this morning - although not as early as the 2 of you!

Any day that begins with wood in the smoker is a good day!

Man oh Man thats sound like a very ambissish menu and plan of attack there Kosmoc. I hope everything works out for you and I will be keeping track of your progress too.

sounds like you got a great plan/meal.

love those all night/early wake up smokes. thats what bbq is about to me.

A little update and some qview :)

Breakfast was very good, fattie with eggs and cheese.

Getting the chuckie and rib roast ready to put in.

Smokin along

Lunch was the rib roast, and an ABT fattie (garlic and cream cheese stuffed jalepenios inside the fattie).

The brisket flat is on, butt is at its stalling point, and I'm putting the turkey in the oven.

Dinner was great. The pork butt didn't finish in time for dinner, but I was able to pull it and get it in the fridge and freezer before bed. I think I had some grease in front of the camera lens on my phone sorry
