weekend is too far away to know for sure.

Nothing Saturday as we are heading into Chicago to return the La Caja, hang out at a buddies bar and watch the White Sox, and then head up to Argyle street for some Vietnamese food.

Sunday I might fire up one of the WSM's or take the weekend off of smoking and save it up for a big fathers day weekend smoke next weekend.  some ribs do sound good though.

got two turkey breasts, a 15lb packer, and 4 pork butts for the farmer's market tomorrow, we're starting this evening at 7.  Also gonna whip up a big batch of sauce.

Hmmmm, saturday is someone's birthday (mine) so I borrowed a buddy's Orion Outdoor Cooker and was going to give it a whirl using a couple different ideas from various sources and put them all into play and see how well the food turns out. Was thinking of doing ribs the BBChamp way but inside the Orion Smoker. Gonna probably put the Orion to the test and see if I can do a full 6 rack of ribs in 1 hour and 10 minutes with convection style contained cooking.

I plan on playing with some corn in the cooker this weekend.  Plus hitting all the stores looking for that perfect brisket for next weekend for an all nighter with some other fathers celebrating our one day of freedom a year.

Nothing special, just a couple of BB racks and some ABT's with home grown japs.

Me, myself, and I are taking Friday off of work to do the cooking for my wifes college graduation party on Saturday. Gonna do 4 pork butts 8-10 lbs. each, 1 brisket 13-15 lb., and a big, big batch of Dutches Wicked baked beans. While all that cooks I'm gonna whip up about 4 gallons of coleslaw. The menu is pulled pork sammy's, sliced brisket, beans, and slaw..... simple but tastey!

HA! lol yea that won't be an issue, we're firing up ol smokey, no electric this week, although the thought of some ribs does have me drooling a bit...

My brothers are coming to town so we are going out to the bars. I havent been to the bars in quite some time so I know Ill need some tasty treats afterwards to soak up all the booze.  Im making ABTs, Buttermilk brined chicken wings, and a fattie.

Gonna tinker with the UDS some more and work the bugs out of that and then let the kids help me give it a final coat of paint.  If I can get it rockin I'll try some ribs, store has a nice pack of 3 and downs for under 10 bucks! But if they throw up a sale on beef this week I might go for a chuck or something.   Gonna take a break from fatties..as..I'm becoming one LOL
