Was headed to Wildwood Crest, NJ on Thrusday night with the wife and 7 month old son. We stopped at my parents house to pick up my 5 year old niece. Well me, my wife, parents and niece were standing outside in front of my truck saying good bye, my mom then opens the other garage door and asks if I was able to take down a large piece of furniture to their beach house in my truck. Well the truck was packed and I said no right away not even looking at the 'piece of furniture.' They just stood there and I was like what! They then said are you sure and pointed to the Weber box. I was pretty friggin' happy, we had already planned to smoke at my parents on fathers day and I was just going to bring over my Brinkmann Gourmet. Now I have to go over there and season it before father's day and get it ready.

Anywho, she got me pretty good.

LOL.... grats! Can't beat that for a nice gift.

Just FYI - you don't have to season the WSM's they are good to go straight out of the box (after 15 min. of ass'y). The seasoning is mostly for rust prevention, but since the WSM's are enamel coated you don't have to worry about that. Just remember they run hot for the first half dozen smokes or so, then the residue builds up and seals off some of the air leaks.
