After seeing Walking Dudes mini meat loafs the other day, I just had to give them a try. So, here they are. Smoked them between 220-225 for 1 1/2 hrs. All I can find in town is hickory, so that is what I used. Talk about moist little things. And very tasty too! Also made up some cucumber salad and baked, tator salad. Never had that before, and some green onions. Love those things! Thanks Steve, they were awesome.

Here we go ready for the smoker

All sauced up

Ready to eat. They weren't as dark as the pic shows

Nice looking meal, thanks for the QVIEW.

Very nice might have to try some of those next weekend.

Thanks.

thankx for the kudo's Mark..........but i have to give the mini meatloaf cred to PNWSteve.......i think thats him............glad you liked my reicpe......told ya they would be moist............

POINTS! ! ! !

Um, ok, busted. Good eyes. I like my cooked onions like I do my japs. With a little bit of crunch. Other then that, I did follow the recipe. Mine took longer though. Think it was closer to 1hr 45 min.

Mark - definitely a great looking plate of grub, the meatloaf looking awesome!!! I've got to try me some smoked loafs after seeing those pics!!

yeah............did mine this weekend with some crunch...........i think i like em better that way..........

but ONIONS! ! ! ! ......carmalized gives the loaf more flavor

Told ya at the gathering they are better with a little crunch. I don't know how the carmalized onions would give those mini's more flavor then they already have, but, I will try next time.

Thanks Ron, Ohm, Laurel

Laurel, my wife makes a mean meatloaf. She even said this beats hers. I think pretty much anything on the smoker beats an oven any day. You gotta try these.
