Howdy all, new to the digs. Signed up for the 5 day and liking it.
I have been trying to learn this smoking stuff without alot of success. I'm hoping to get better just got to keep practicing.
I have weber 22"
I also have a charbroil offset
I may not have alot of input but I will be like a sponge soaking up the knowledge. Thanks for having me and looking foward to it.

Welcome Az -

If you want to learn the wonderful art of BBQ you've come to the right place! A good place to start is to sign up for Jeff's 5 day eCourse and learn the basics. Read some of the post from the more experianced members and follow their lead. AND ask questions - that's what we're here for!

Welcome to SMF! Glad you found us! Jeff's 5-day ecourse on smoking basics is a great place to start learning. Keep us posted on your progress.

Take care, have fun, and do good!

Welcome to SMF AzQer!!! It didn't take me long to decide that dry heat thing was a crock. The first time I was ever in the Southwest I stopped at a rest area west of Kingman. The thermometer said 118° and I had never been so hot in my life.

welcome to smf. don't hesitate to ask questions or post pics ( even if it's a disaster) there's a lot of knowledge around here and someone can & will always help. good luck w/ your new addiction.

Ya know Geoff ... Sometimes I don't remember what's on my site always trying to add something for the newbies and forget the old stuff!

WElcome to the SMF, and there's nothing wrong with a sponge bath. One smoke at a time and you'll do just great.
