Hey all! The names Chris and I'm just south of Toledo, Ohio. Simple factory workin family guy with a wife and 2 childrens.

As of right now I have a simple Weber Gas Grill I got out scrappin one day... works great for me

. I have NO experience Smokin Meat but, Plan to learn alot here.

Welcome! If you're careful about heat mgmt and meat placement, you can get a pretty good smoke out of your gasser. Especially if you have 2 burners so you can leave one off and use an indirect method. You'll learn a lot here!

First off welcome Chris to SMF. You'll like it here cause there are abunch of good folks here that would just love to help you out with just about anything to do with smoking. We really like to have newbies here because they can bring in a new propective to how things are done. There's nothing like a new set of eyes to give and new way to make things that little differant to make things alittle better. So I hope you know about the Qview here.
