Picked up the Weston 48" smoker so I can do snack sticks and other stuff. Decided to break it in today. I had bought the Bayou Classic M5HPR-1 10 PSI Hose, Regulator, Valve Assembly to help control the heat since the reviews said it doesn't like to get up to heat especially on colder days. Well right off the rip the new hose caught on fire at the crimp so had to make a quick change over to the hose that came with it. Now I can't get it to 225. Sitting around 200-210
now not wanting to go higher.

That stinks, sorry for your troubles ! I don't know anything on the Weston smokers so not of much help... Hopefully someone will be by soon that has some experience with that type smoker !

So here it is dinner time and it's 172 and moving slowly. Only gone up 14 degrees in the last 3 hours.
