I was just about to make a new batch of bacon using a recipe I got here and changed slightly to suit my taste. Its delicious!

Anyway, tonight I was making my brine and needed 2 gallons of water so I used the proportionate amount of other ingredients. But I really screwed up my prague powder. My recipe says 2 tsp and for some reason I put in 2 tablespoons. Not only that, I put it in before boiling and not after. Grrrr. I know too much prague powder is no good either. Did I ruin this brine batch? I didnt put in the pork belly yet so I have that going for me.

Can you talk me off the ledge? :)

Thanks!
bob

Thank you sir. Thats the way I was leaning too. So far the ingredients in it are cheap, no sense risking it all.

Thanks for the confirmation.
